Francis Rodino Band Fights Leukaemia

AMSTERDAM MARATHON 21st OCTOBER 2007

 This is Vizier, aged 4.  In 2000, Vizier was diagnosed with leukaemia. He consequently spent several agonising months going through treatment against the disease. As he battled, the rest of his family suffered with him, hoping for the best and yet fearing the worst. Despite all his efforts, he did eventually succumb to leukaemia and passed away at the age of 5.

In his memory, his cousin, Noel Magno decided to focus on helping other children with leukaemia. To help raise money for the Maria Watt Birmingham Foundation, he ran the Amsterdam Marathon in October in a fantastic time of 3H:28M:28S.
