Maria's Star

Maria's brother, David, bought and named a star in her memory.  The star is registered at the International Star Registry. The Registry has redesignated

Star Number - Cassiopeia RA 23h 34m 53s D 52' 54'

to the name "Maria Watt". The co-ordinates are taken as at 9th July 2005

This star is now known by the name "Maria Watt" and the name of the star is permanently filed in The Registry's vault in Switzerland and recorded in a book which is registered in the copyright office of the United States of America.

However, it is not possible to view the star with the naked eye so we havealso created a virtual star to view in the knowledge that Maria's actual star is shining brightly above us.

Click on the link below and see if you can find Maria's Star - it is called

"Our precious beautiful daughter, Maria."

When you activate the link you will need to wait a couple of seconds then click on the stars to activate.  Wait another couples of second then trace your mouse over the stars to find "Maria's Star"
